Morocco Trip

The trip to Morocco with the girls was fantastic. We flew to Casablanca where we met with Abdu, our driver, then traveled by car to Fes via Meknes & Volubilis. The Roman ruins in Volubilis were awesome. We spent the night in Fes and took a tour with a local guide for sightseeing, shopping and a Moroccan lunch. I wish I could write each detail, but that could take awhile. I will try to label the pictures instead. We left Fes for Marrakech via Ifran, Azrou, and Beni-Mellal. We spent one night and departed for Ouarzazate via Tiz-n-tichka Pass. We stopped at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah for a visit and lunch. We then visited Kasbah taourirt and stayed overnight at Riad Dar Kamar. The next day we went to Todra Gorge, and my camera card was full! :( We did a little walking there, had lunch then drove back to our hotel for more shopping and eating! LOL We left for Marrakech in the a.m., had lunch and took an afternoon visit to the Jamaa El Fnaa Square for more shopping! The last day we took a tour with a local guide, shopped, dined and packed for our early departure back to Casablanca, then on to Cairo. That was a long day. There is nothing in Casablana except the 3rd largest Mosque which is quite amazing! We were up 19 hours before boarding the plane back to Cairo.......so Saturday was a lazy day upon my return.
